Mr Togay Koç

Mr Togay Koç is a highly experienced and well-regarded consultant orthopaedic foot and ankle surgeon based in Southampton and Winchester. He specialises in acute and chronic conditions of the foot and ankle, including acute, chronic, traumatic and degenerative forefoot, midfoot as well as hindfoot conditions. Mr Koç’s current NHS base is University Hospital Southampton NHS Foundation Trust.

He is a highly trained surgeon who also possesses a special interest in managing and treating conditions related to the ankle and hindfoot; anywhere from sports injuries to various different degenerative conditions; as well as arch and heel pain. He also has extensive experience in minimally invasive foot surgery.Mr Koç impressively achieved a distinction upon successful completion of his UK-based specialist medical training at Guy’s, King’s and St. Thomas’ School of Medical Education. His specialist interests include sports injuries, sports medicine, osteoarthritis, arthroscopy, foot surgery, ankle ssurgery, as well as soft tissue injuries.

To-date, Mr Koç has published a substantial amount of peer-reviewed medical-related publications and has also won a host of teaching, research excellence and presentation awards. To add to his esteemed medical curriculum, this well-regarded doctor has also undertaken fellowships at established hospitals such as University Hospital Southampton, Nuffield Orthopaedic Centre in Oxford, Royal Surrey County Hospital, and Frimley Park Hospital.
