Dr Neeraj Purohit is an experienced Consultant Musculoskeletal Radiologist at University Hospital Southampton and Medicana Winchester Clinic. With over 20 years of medical expertise, he is recognised for his advanced skills in orthopaedic imaging, musculoskeletal diagnostics, and image-guided interventions. Dr Purohit has dedicated his career to advancing radiological techniques and has become a trusted specialist for complex orthopaedic and sports-related imaging needs.
Dr Purohit completed his medical degree at the University of Sheffield in 2001. Early in his career, he trained in trauma and orthopaedics, where he gained foundational skills and obtained the MRCS qualification. His interest in medical research led him to University College London, where he pursued a Master’s degree (MSc) focusing on mesenchymal stem cells and skeletal tissue culture.
Selected for the prestigious Wessex Clinical Radiology Training Programme, Dr Purohit refined his radiological expertise and earned the Fellow of the Royal College of Radiologists (FRCR) qualification.
