Bio

Dr Clive Vandervelde is a Consultant Radiologist, with main areas of interest including diagnostic neuroradiology and cross-sectional imaging (particularly head & neck and gastrointestinal imaging but also general oncology imaging)

Dr Vandervelde qualified as a doctor in 1999, after a degree in medicine from Manchester University. He was appointed as a Consultant Radiologist in 2008, having completed specialist training in Clinical Radiology on the Guy’s and St Thomas’ training scheme from 2003-2008. Dr Vandervelde was the Clinical Director of Radiology at Hampshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust from 2016-2019.

Dr Vandervelde is also involved in medical undergraduate education, having been radiology tutor for the University of Southampton BM4 programme for 10 years.

Special interests

Diagnostic neuroradiology, head & neck imaging, general cross-sectional imaging including GI and oncology.
