Dr. Bhavna Sharma

Dr Bhavna Sharma is a Consultant Ophthalmic Surgeon specialising in oculoplastic, lacrimal and cataract surgery.  She provides both functional and aesthetic treatments for conditions affecting the eyelids and surrounding facial area.

Bhavna completed her higher specialist ophthalmology training in Wales, followed by an advanced fellowship in oculoplastic, orbital and lacrimal surgery at University Hospital Southampton as well as attending observerships in Sheffield and Melbourne.  She also completed Derma Medical Institute’s fellowship in aesthetic medicine, complementing her surgical expertise with a detailed understanding of non-surgical facial rejuvenation.

Her commitment to clinical excellence and education has been recognised through several awards, including national prizes for best case presentation from SCOPE and Théa, a national prize from the British Oculoplastic Surgery Society, and Cardiff University’s Excellence in Teaching Award for her contribution to hosting and teaching medical students.
