Dr Ella Seccombe is a highly experienced consultant dermatologist and paediatric dermatologist, specialising in a wide range of dermatological conditions, from general skin diseases like eczema, acne, and psoriasis to the management of malignant skin cancers and paediatric skin conditions.
With an established career in both adult and paediatric dermatology, Dr Seccombe has honed her expertise in diagnosing and treating skin cancer, as well as providing surgical treatment for a variety of skin lesions. She also offers effective care for excessive sweating (hyperhidrosis).
Dr Seccombe is passionate about paediatric dermatology, where she treats conditions such as eczema, acne, and strawberry birthmarks (haemangiomas), helping children achieve healthier skin.
Having trained in London, Dr Seccombe went on to complete her Specialist Registrar training in Dermatology in the Wessex region. She was appointed as a consultant dermatologist at University Hospitals Southampton NHS Trust in January 2020.
In addition to her clinical work, Dr Seccombe is actively involved in medical education, serving as the postgraduate education lead for dermatology in Southampton and providing training for medical students, junior doctors, and GPs.
