1. Terms and Conditions

1.1 Information About Medicana and Your Admission

Comprehensive information about Medicana International Ltd., including contact details and an enquiry form, is available on our website. Before your treatment, you will receive an Admission Letter confirming your care plan, procedure details, and payment terms.

1.2 Before Admission

The Admission Letter includes key details, such as:

  • Your care and treatment plan
  • Fixed package prices for self-pay treatments or cost estimates for non-packaged services
  • Your confirmed procedure date

1.3 Pre-Assessment Process

A pre-assessment is required before your procedure and may occur in person or via a phone consultation. This includes a review of your medical history and health status.

1.4 Impact of Pre-Assessment on Pricing

If your pre-assessment identifies medical reasons preventing your surgery or requires additional tests, we will discuss changes to your package price or surgery date. Any amendments will be documented in a new Admission Letter.

1.5 Finalising Your Package Price

Your final Package Price is confirmed upon admission. Once signed, the price remains fixed.

1.6 Consultant Billing

Your Admission Letter will indicate whether consultant fees are billed separately. Consultants may charge for their services independently, including initial consultations (see Section 4 for details).

1.7 Payment Requirements

Payment in full is required before admission. Delays or failure to process payment may result in refusal of admission. Refund policies are outlined in Clause 2.

1.8 VAT

VAT increases will not be passed onto the patient after the price confirmation.

1.9 Invoices

Invoices must be settled within 14 days. Payment options are detailed on our website.

1.10 Quotation Letters

If you haven’t yet made a booking, you will receive a quotation letter with next steps, followed by an Admission Letter upon confirmation.

2. Right to Cancel and Refunds

2.1 Cancellation Policy

You may cancel your procedure at any time. Any treatments already received will be charged at standard rates. Cancellations within 7 days of your procedure may incur a £250 fee to cover healthcare professionals’ time and administrative costs.

2.2 Cancellation and Refunds Process

To cancel, contact us at +44 1962 587820 or complete the cancellation form (see Clause 11). Refunds will be issued within 28 days through your original payment method.

3. Complications with Self-Pay Treatment

Complications directly related to your procedure are covered for six months after discharge, provided:

  • Complications are treated at Medicana Winchester
  • You adhere to the advice of your consultant and healthcare professionals

4. Consultants

4.1 Consultant Responsibilities

Your care is provided by your designated consultant, who may involve other specialists. Consultants operate independently, and Medicana is not liable for their actions.

4.2 Consultant Billing

4.3 Refunds for Consultant Cancellations

If your consultant cancels your procedure for medical reasons, you will be refunded for unused services.

5. Termination of Contract

Medicana may terminate the contract if:

  • Payments are overdue beyond 30 days
